FRP makes a case against the top list – NRK Norway – Overview of news from different parts of the country

– The decision has been made tonight by the organizational committee to start preparing the case for sanctions under § 3b of the law against Lars Petter Solås, wrote assistant secretary general Helge Fossum in an SMS to NRK.

It states, among other things, that membership can be permanently revoked.

– The background to this decision is the information available so far and has been clarified in recent days. Although the descriptions of the incident vary widely, the behavior described is completely unacceptable and something we absolutely must not have among our people’s representatives and trade unions, or in the party, the text says.

VG Report the case first.

The replay after last weekend’s national FRP meeting must have left everyone disappointed.

Lars Petter Solås at FRP Oslo allegedly grabbed a male journalist by the crotch, according to the report Daily newspaper.

He then allegedly shouted at and threatened other journalists. He is also said to have strangled a third journalist, wrote VG.

In the end, he had to be eliminated by other participants in the nachspielet, according to Dagbladet information. No one was hurt.

After the incident at Nachspielet, journalists involved from Nettavisen sent messages of concern to Frp. According to editor-in-chief Gunnar Stavrum, Nettavisen has yet to decide whether or not this will be a police case.

NRK has not spoken to Solås directly, and therefore has not accepted his version.

The previous party leader stated that he had consumed too much alcohol that night.

– I consume more alcohol than I can control. That and all that may have happened, I apologize in a very, very strong way, the party leader wrote in a statement.
