– Looks like there will be extensive practice activities?

– Yes, that’s it. From that point of view, we are satisfied to have practiced a lot with the carrier group and America, which is our closest ally.

The defense keeps his cards close to his chest on the way down there When And Where Along the coast, training activities are taking place, but TV 2 received confirmation Tuesday from a central position in the US Navy that the cruise after Oslo is heading for Arctic waters.

– Sailors look forward to working in the Arctic Circle, as many of their friends in the navy never have the opportunity to do so. Having the opportunity to visit Oslo, and experience the North Sea and the Arctic is something we look forward to, Ship Commander Rick Burgess told TV 2.

The aircraft carrier docked just before 12 o’clock in Oslo. The ship is located near Ormøya in the Bunnefjord.
