MESCYT sent 326 scholarship recipients for doctoral and master programs to Europe, Mexico and the United States

Santo Domingo.- Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT) submit appropriate certification to the fourth cohort of 326 students selected during the Call for International Scholarships 2023who will study the program doctorate and masters in the more than thirty-five universities located in Mexico, Spain, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and the USA.

In the action, led by the head of the institution, Dr. Franklin Garcia Ferminand director of International Scholarships, roselia perezdeserving students receive their accreditation to pursue master’s degrees at the following universities: Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE), Iberoamerica International (UNINI)Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI)Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA)Conscious Management Institute (CMI School of Business), Humboldt International University and the José Ortega y Gasset – Gregorio Marañón Foundationamong others.

Some of the beneficiaries will attend more than 16 master’s degree programs in areas such as robotic engineering, design and management of technology projects, artificial intelligence and computer science, mathematics, international logistics, supply chain managementstrategic directions include in telecommunications, infrastructure engineering and management, in public health and data science.

Another part of the beneficiaries will specialize in more than 15 doctoral programs in education systems and the environment, strategic analysis and sustainable development.

When delivering his speech, García Fermín highlighted the concern of the Dominican Government, in order the scholarship program benefits students from across the country.

The official assured that the scholarship recipients were from the provinces of Bahoruco, La Altagracia, Dajabón, San Cristóbal, Monte Plata, Azua, San Pedro de Macorís, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Duarte, National District, Pedernales, Barahona, Azua, Espaillat , Santo Domingo and La Vega.

Keep in mind that MESCYT, so far this year, has been successful 1,419 scholarships internationally by order of President Luis Abinader. In June, a total of 713 scholarships were awarded; on July 380, and 326 on August 9, 2023, during acts held at the MESCYT esplanade.
