Chile.- Two people died in southern Chile on the day the Senate ratified the extension of the state of emergency

A forest worker and a farmer died this Tuesday in the town of CaƱete after receiving two shots in southern Chile, a region that the Senate approved on the same day extending the state of emergency for another fifteen days.

Venezuela (1).- The National Assembly of Venezuela approves a law to reform the Supreme Court to reduce the number of judges

Venezuela’s National Assembly has approved in the second discussion of the Supreme Court’s organic law reform to reduce the number of court judges from 32 to 20, the procedure is now open to the formation of a nomination committee in Venezuela’s highest judicial body.

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido has stressed that he sees no “good intentions” in the National Electoral Council’s (CNE) decision, which has paved the way for removing Maduro with a withdrawal referendum, although he does trust mechanisms to mobilize citizenship.

Venezuela/Colombia.- Venezuela calls for “intervention of international organizations” in Colombia in the face of crime

Venezuelan authorities have called for “intervention” in Colombia by international organizations to try to stop the killing of civilian leaders in the face of the “incompetence” of Ivan Duque’s government.
