Parties to the teacher strike meet

The teacher strike parties will meet in Riksmekleren at 12 o’clock. This is already the longest teacher strike we have experienced in Norway. On Monday, it was slated to be scaled up further when the Education Association put out another 1,800 members on strike.

Some have warned of the consequences of the strike on the mental health of young people, and urged the government to intervene with mandatory wage councils.

The international Ibsen Award goes to the Australian company Back to Back Theatre. It happened in a live ceremony. In conjunction with the reception, the company played two shows “Ganesh Versus the Third Reich” and “The Shadow Whose Prey Hunters Become” on the Main Stage of the National Theater and at Kanonhallen in Løren.
