Sleeping bear falls from a tree in a residential area in the United States

A bear that sat in a tree for several hours in a residential area in Michigan in the US had to be sedated. Then the bear fell asleep and fell on the mattress that had been made.
The roughly 160-pound bear sat in a tree in a residential area of Traverse City for several hours Sunday morning.
The Wildlife Service sent a crew to the scene. There they shot at least four anesthetic darts into the bear’s ass.
The bear then fell asleep in a dense tree branch. Then it fell to the ground.
Meanwhile, dozens of curious neighbors from nearby houses had gathered at the location. Some sat on the grass while others sat on chairs taking pictures and filming the scene.
– Best neighborhood party ever, said Annette Andersen, one of the neighbors.
Another neighbor, Ashlea Walter, had removed the mattress from her home. These were placed under trees to cushion the fall, reported the local Traverse City Record-Eagle newspaper.
– It’s a strong animal. They live in trees all the time and accidents happen in nature. They are capable of coping with sizable falls, says biologist Steve Griffith.
After that, the bear’s health was checked before being taken to a forest area at least 80-100 kilometers away, according to Griffith.
