In the film, we meet paleontologist Nora Tidemann, played by Ine Marie Willmann. He was suddenly taken from field work to a secret command center in Oslo, where, among other things, the Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chief of Defense were sitting in crisis meetings.

The explosion at Dovre had set something on the mountain.

– Birthday present at that time

– As a screenwriter, I should have eloquent words, but I’m completely speechless. It’s a birthday present, says Kristiansund’s Espen Aukan, who wrote the script and whose birthday is the day of the premiere.

– It’s touching. On the weekends, there are a lot of messages, and it seems that people all over the world are having fun with Norwegians “Trol”.

Trolls was produced by Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud, and Horn says the feedback has been overwhelming.

– This is really crazy. Netflix represents 190 countries, and we wouldn’t believe the film is now number one. We are very proud and happy. I think trolls create a lot of interest. This is a troll with feelings and memories, so it’s not just a stupid troll. Besides, monster movies have a huge audience.

– Free marketing

The film includes scenes from both Hunderfossen in Lillehammer, Lom and Rauma. Mayor Rauma believes the film will have a positive impact on the city government.

– I think there are some great scenes from our municipality. It means a lot to us, and it’s great that we got a shooting location in Rauma. It gives us a lot of free marketing, said the mayor, Yvonne Wold, to Åndalsnes Avis.

To NRK, Wold said that the film draws attention to hiking opportunities and nature experiences in beautiful nature. He believed that the Peak Capital of Norway, with its centerpiece and the Norwegian Mountain Festival, could receive increased attention when the Troll peak was highlighted in “Troll”.

Both Mission Impossible, which has yet to premiere, and footage of the films Sucsession, Kompani Lauritsen and Børning have given us a lot of visitors, so we’re looking forward to seeing the effect all of that positive attention will have, he says. .
