Visma’s revenue increased nearly 20 percent last year

Visma has a turnover of 2.1 billion euros in 2022, which is equivalent to around NOK 23.4 billion, an increase of 19 per cent. The point also received a strong boost last year.

The press release stated that revenue from SaaS (Software as a Service) and related cloud services accounted for 85 percent of the group’s turnover in 2022, up from 81 percent in 2021.

All time high

The company indicated in the report that last year it had the highest investment in product development and acquisitions. It is hoped that this will lay the foundation for further growth in cloud-based software in Europe.

– Visma will continue to do its best. We develop software that automates and simplifies administrative tasks in both the private and public sectors. In this way, we contribute to a more efficient society, said Merete Hverven, CEO of Visma.

Visma now has more than 1.4 million customers across Europe and Latin America, growing 26 percent over the previous year. Nearly 22 million e-invoices and 11 million payslips pass through the group system every month.

During 2022, Visma sells its business in IT consulting and Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS). In this way, the company hopes to tune the business more strongly around SaaS and standard software.

Bought 42 companies

In 2022, Visma bought a total of 42 companies in eight countries for a record total of 1.1 billion euros. This includes the group’s first acquisitions in France and Germany. Companies also spend a lot of money on product development. This applies not least to “Visma Tech Portugal”, which will act as an innovation center in areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

– We use artificial intelligence and machine learning to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of our customers, said Hverven.
