Adrian Sellevoll after a terrible accident:

Artist Adrian Sellevoll had to jump from the barn and into the sea. It could end in disaster.

It was the West Police District that first reported the crash on Twitter where they wrote:

– Reported someone who jumped from the roof of warehouse 5, but hit the asphalt/pier before ending up in the sea. Where picked up by the sea by other people in the city, now taken care of by health. Police are talking to witnesses.

Sellevoll himself has described what happened on Instagram. He wrote:

“Should have been a night swimming in the city and up on the roof, the first jump went well and I did some sort of somersault don’t remember what.

Then I went up again and because I was wet I slipped when I had to jump a second time and hit the dock with my head first!”

He also describes injuries after a fall:

– Neck fracture.

– 3 rather hard fractures in the jaw on the right side.

– Minor damage everywhere.

But the artist is also glad that it didn’t get any worse.

‘I am lucky. Take care of each other and don’t make stupid choices that could potentially ruin the rest of your life,” he wrote on Instagram.

Thank you for your support

In a later story on Instagram, Sellevoll thanked everyone who had shown their support after the crash.

«A big thank you to all my friends, family members and acquaintances who have visited me today in Haukeland and a big thank you to all of the perhaps thousands of messages and wonderful snaps I have received! Unbelievably grateful that I have so many around me who care about me,” he wrote and concluded:

“Now I have to take my time, even though summer may be over for me! Thanks again.”
