The world record holder won in a stunning opening season during the Bislett Games.

Her time was a phenomenal 46.52, which was a new meeting record in the 400 meter hurdles at the arena in Oslo.

– I’m showing that I’m really up there again, Warholm told TV 2.

– That’s very good. It’s always fun like that, coach Leif Olav Alnes told NRK.

Warholm’s world record was 45.94, set during the Olympics in Tokyo. The first time substitute Ulstein set a world record was in Bislett with a time of 46.70.

– I put pressure on my competitors and showed that I will make a real impact this year too. They have to rely on me. This was an important signal to send, Warholm said.

The super race meant that he now also dared to think that maybe doing something with his own world record.

– I have never had such confidence that I will be able to come close to that record again, as I have now, reports Warholm.

The 27-year-old opened with a bang as usual. Entering the race, there was no doubt who would win. Warholm ended up having just over a second to take on CJ Allen in second place.
