On National Day, the esteemed Grand Hotel bursts with wealth, where farm owner and property investor Christian Ringnes, 69, was invited to celebrate National Day.

Everyone from businessmen to business leaders, influencers, journalists, artists, heiresses and Swiss emigrants have made the trip, the newspaper wrote.

– I was really looking forward to seeing the kids train with all the great bands. And how do young people now dress up in beautiful bunads and other nice things, grocery store billionaire Stein Erik Hagen told business today.

According to DN, Hagen had rented 260 rooms for friends and acquaintances on May 17.

Jan Petter Sissener, 68, one of Norway’s most outspoken financiers, and one of those who has yet to announce a move, was clear about his opinion of Norway on National Day.

– The best is nature, land, people. The worst are the politicians, he told the newspapers as he arrived at Christian Ringnes’ party at the Grand Hotel.
