NOW: Man stabbed in back at a party – woman arrested
– That the female suspect was arrested at 05.35 WIB, more than an hour after the report was received by the Eivind Håndstad Task Force at the Crimea of the Oslo Police to West Nusa Tenggara on Saturday morning.
The police received a report about the incident from the man himself. The two involved are in their 30s.
– After interviewing witnesses and searching the area, we found a woman. He is currently being charged with grievous bodily harm, he said.
He stated that it was too early to say anything about the background to the incident and would not comment on whether they had recovered any weapons.
– We have a hunch that there is a relationship between the accused and the victim, but we can’t say what kind of relationship it is.
Operations manager Vidar Pedersen in the Oslo police district told NTB that the man was awake, but he was taken by ambulance to a hospital for further follow-up.
According to Pedersen, police are not aware of what actually happened and he said they are still investigating the matter. The victim has not been questioned. The incident happened indoors.
– There was some sort of party or something like that on the site, and we had to work a bit to get the information we wanted. This is not a talkative client, to put it mildly, says the operations manager.
He said Oslo police had great resources on the assignment and took the case seriously.
– Then we will talk to the victim if possible, said Pedersen.
