QS Ranking: U. Catolica and U. de Chile, best for MBA degree

The programs took first and second place in the region, respectively. While UC ranks 44th globally, FEN ranks 51st of all considered.

Chile is the best country in Latin America to study an MBA (Master of Business Administration), with the Catholic University and University of Chile programs being leaders both in the country and in the region.

This was revealed by the British consulting firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in 2022 Global Executive MBA Rankingswhich details that two of the country’s leading study institutions have also earned a privileged position at the global level: while UC ranks 44th in the world, U. de Chile’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEN) remains at 51st among 194 steps in this version.

The UC MBA remains in first place in Latin America for the fifth year in a row according to the QS Ranking, while the University of Chile only entered the measurement this year, covering 17 programs in its latest version.

Marcos Singer, director of the UC MBA, confirmed that they were “proud” to have been awarded first place in the region again, but emphasized that “this position demands and forces us to innovate.”

The academic commentary that, in this line, they are defines sustainability as a minimum course, covering social, integrity and environmental issues. “Our students must be aware of their responsibilities and beyond: they must be leaders of change for the sake of the planet”, he assured.

Until last year, the only other national study institutions appearing on the list were the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) and the ESE Business School of the Universidad de Los Andes..
