British author Jojo Moyes is a popular name on bestseller lists, including for “Et helt half år”, which has been a bestseller in Norway for the past 14 years.
In 2016, a film version of the book came out, with “Game of Thrones” actress Emilia Clarke, and Sam Claflin known from “The Hunger Games” in the main roles.
In total, Norwegians have bought 1.5 million books by the author.
In March, Moyes traveled to Norway for the first time in six years, in connection with the release of his new book “In Your Shoes”, a press release stated.

Now the Norwegian publisher confirms to God kveld Norge that Moyes will have to cancel a visit to Norway on 15-16. march.
– We heard from her agent that she was too sick to travel, said the public relations manager at Bonnier Forlag, Julie Kalager.
Publishers received notifications at the end of last week. It’s not clear what went wrong with the Briton.
No readers will be affected by the cancellation of the visit, as the author is only expected to be interviewed by the press and visit various bookstores in the capital, said Kalager, adding:
– We look forward to another visit as soon as possible. Then we wanted to arrange for him to meet his Norwegian readers, as there are a lot of them.
