royal support? Elizabeth II will help Prince Andrew pay harassment lawsuit

Prince Andrew managed to reach an economic deal with Virginia Giuffre to stop the judicial process he was holding against him in the United States, accusing him of sexual harassment.

According to court documents presented by the defense of the son of Queen Elizabeth II of England in court, Judge Lewis A. Kaplan was asked to stop immediately trial because the defendant and the plaintiff have reached an agreement.

Although the amount of the deal was not disclosed, this Wednesday, the newspaper “The Telegraph” published that the amount reached 14 million euros, which is approx 330 million Mexican pesos and which must be covered within 30 days. In fact, the most striking thing is that the queen herself will help pay this amount to her son.

According to what’s circulating, the negotiations between Prince Andrew and Virginia lasted about ten days, after the Duke of York’s legal team made a change of strategy to avoid by any means the client appears to be showing to testify under oath before a US court on March 10.

The agreement reached indicated that part of the money would be sent to Giuffre in person and others will go straight to charity association which he founded himself to help victims of sexual abuse.

“It’s been a great day. Virginia was excited when we informed her of her terms. Everything has happened in the last few days and it was pretty quick (…) With this, the case is over. She will pay you the money within 30 days,” he said. David Boies, attorney for Virginia Giuffre.

It should be noted that Prince Andrew tried to get the judge to dismiss the complaint filed by Virginia, relying on the confidentiality agreement he signed with Jeffrey Epstein more than a decade ago in which he promised to don’t report again neither he nor anyone else involved in the abuse case.

However, judge refuse to refuse complaint and I’m continuing the case, so the only options Prince Andrew has are to go to court or settle out of court.

Following Judge Lewis A. Kaplan’s decision, Queen Elizabeth II stripped her beloved son of the military title, royal patronage and dignity of His Royal Highness, ensuring that Prince Andrew will face the trial as private citizenHowever, the amount of millionaires the Duke of York would have to pay would be part of the king’s own savings.
