After Sony gave away Ratchet & Clank in March, they had now revealed which games will be given away through the Play at Home initiative in the near future. And this time there were a lot of them.
Starting March 25, all PlayStation players can secure Enter the Gungeon, Abz, Subnautica, Thumper, Rez Infinite, The Witness, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, and Paper Beast. All games are available for free, and players can keep them forever, as long as they are secured before 23 April. The last three games on the list are VR games, and you’ll need a PlayStation VR headset to enjoy them.
Horizon Zero Dawn in the menu
The icing on the cake may be that Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition will be free through the initiative starting April 19. Variants of this game include the Frozen Dawn expansion, which adds a lot of extras. Both the game itself and the expansion were very well received, and are considered the best on the PlayStation 4 of the last five years.
The game is free to download until May 14, and like the games above, you can keep it if you keep it safe during that period.
The Play at Home initiative is something Sony started in 2020, as a gesture to players around the world during the ongoing pandemic. The campaign aims to do its part to get people to stay home and play, at a time when more of us have to accept a fairly isolated daily life.
